Sarah's story begins at school, where an anonymous donor who learned about the importance of giving back at Sarah's age decided to pay it forward. This donor gave each 5th grader in Sarah's class $50 to give to an organization or person in need. 

Sarah thought long and hard about what she wanted to do with her money. She remembered her grandma volunteering at Aspire and knows her cousin lives in one of Aspire's 24 community homes. She chose Aspire.

Sarah loves birthdays and holidays and celebrating life. So, of course, Sarah's gift should inspire celebration! This is how Sarah's Fund was started just last week. 

Sarah's Fund will cover the extra costs of celebrations like birthdays and holidays throughout the year for the residents in our community homes. It started with a $50 bill and the generosity of a young girl. Now, we're looking for 99 other donors to match her gift so that we start a snowball effect - all to celebrate life!
